Almost all of my friends, including me, cried because of LOVE. Just this morning, another friend of mine cried because her boyfriend left her. Some of them blamed their partners for the break up, some blamed themselves; likewise, some asked themselves on what's wrong with them and why the relationship they're into ended up quickly and badly?

Well, love really hurts. I also used to cry for love. As far as I can remember, I had cried for three relationships before I finally found the perfect one. Prior to being hurt thrice, my elder sister gave me an article about LOVE. According to the article, " Love has its own REASON and its own SEASON for coming into our lives." At that time, I didn't understand thoroughly yet the meaning of this line.

"Love has its own REASON and SEASON for coming into our lives.". Love has its own reason for coming into our lives and for hurting us because love wants us to realize its essence and because the person you love is not the destined person for you, respectively. Thus, when the right person comes, don't be surprised because love has its own SEASON for coming into your life. Enjoy and thank God because the right season has come at last.

On the other hand, when we broke up with my college boyfriend, he told me that he would always listen to the song, " Love hurts", because he was really hurt with our break up. Well, he's now married and we always laugh every time we hear the song; because we both understand now that love really hurts when the person we love is not yet for us.

Everyone of us has its own interpretation for the song, " Love hurts" and for the line " Love has its own reason and its own season for coming into our lives". I've already interpreted and understood these; and , I tell you being hurt or having painful experiences is just common for a person who enters love relationship. And, you don't have to worry because all the heartaches, worries & insecurities will end as soon as you find your better half.

So, if you haven't found your better half yet just enjoy every happy moment you have with your present relationship; on the other hand, just cry if the relationship you're into didn't work. Never ever blame yourself or your partner for the relationship that fails and never think or ask for many WH-Questions, like " What's wrong with me?", " Why did he hurt me.?, etc; because these will never help ease the pain, instead these will just help you to be torn apart.

Lastly, don't find LOVE because love itself will find its way to you if it's already your SEASON to love and be loved in return; moreover, to finally have and be with the love of your life.

Do you like watching science-fiction movies? If YES, so do I. I really like watching science-fiction movies, because these involve fantasy and horror which are my favorites too; likewise, because strange things or creatures, like aliens, parahumans, etc. interest me.

Have you seen parahumans? A
parahuman is a human-animal hybrid. If you haven't seen any yet, you better watch the movie " Prince Caspian- The Chronicles of Narnia". This is a very nice movie, and you can see lots of parahumans in it.

I know that parahumans exist only on paintings, books or movies, thus I was shocked when I read the news about the possible existence of parahumans.

According to the news, scientists in Britain have been granted permission to create human-animal hybrid embryos by injecting human DNA into cows' eggs for stem cell research.

Instead of using human eggs, the researchers will remove the nuclei from cows' eggs and replace them with cells from the patients to create cloned stem cell lines that contain the same genetic mutation that results in these neurological disorders.

The hybrid embryo would be 99.9 percent human. The only bovine element would be found in DNA outside the nucleus of the cell.

Moreover, the scientists said the hybrid human-bovine embryos could prove useful in pursuing treatments to prevent Parkinson's disease and Alzheimer's, as well as spinal cord injuries, diabetes and arthritis.

However, the proposal has appalled critics of stem cell research, who slam the idea of creating so-called "chimera" (see: Chimera (genetics)) embryos as an unethical and potentially dangerous practice.

Well, the thought of having parahuman neighbors, colleagues or presidents, etc. excites me. If in case the existence of parahumans is possible, the existence of all the strange creatures in science-fiction movies will be possible too.

But one thing I'm sure of, there will be advantages and disadvantages of parahuman existence. Whatever these are, I'll just wait; and, I'm hoping that there will be more advantages than disadvantages.

Thus, I think having intelligent minds and inventing new technologies are at times hazardous.

Recently, I saw a man in the neighborhood who reminded me of the bird, turkey. I used to be frightened of wild turkeys; so, I was really scared the first time I saw him. Later on, I felt pity on him and I got curious about his life.

According to my neighbors, he was handsome before he got into an accident. He was playing basketball with his friends when his nose was accidentally hit by the ball. He thought that nothing bad happened with his nose, until one day it started to swell. But still, his parents didn't bring him to the hospital. So, this is how his nose looks like now ( look at the photo above).

I really feel pity on him; especially that he's a nice guy. How I wish I had money to spend for his operation?

I got into a minor accident this morning when I went to the market. I was hit by a motorcycle. It was the driver's mistake because he was in the wrong lane; besides, I was standing still when he hit me.

Well, the injuries I got were not serious or deadly. I only got bruises and an open wound on my left foot; but, my left foot is aching when I move it.

It was weird because I didn't feel pain and I didn't cry during the accident . I felt pain and I cried when I arrived home. I cried while I was looking at my bleeding wound. I've been afraid of seeing blood since I was a kid; so, no wonder why I cried?

The lesson I get from the accident is, I should always be careful.

" Everyone knows the importance of a SMILE. Smiles are instinctive, a universal sign of friendliness that even newborns recognize. An attractive smile goes a long way in getting you what you land a job, and find love."

“A smile costs nothing, but gives much. It enriches those who receive, without making poorer those who give. It takes but a moment, but the memory of it sometimes lasts forever. None is so rich or mighty that he can get along without it, and none is so poor but that he can be made rich by it. A smile creates happiness in the home, fosters good will in business, and is the countersign of friendship. It brings rest to the weary, cheer to the discouraged, sunshine to the sad, and is nature’s best antidote for trouble. Yet it cannot be bought, begged, borrowed or stolen, for it is something that is of no value to anyone until it is given away. Some people are too tired to give you a smile. Give them one of yours, as non needs a smile so much as he who has no more to give.”

-- Believed to be of the writings of Samson Raphael Hirsch

What is a Smile? A “Smile” is – (1) a facial expression in which the eyes brighten and the corners of the mouth curve slightly upward and which expresses amusement and pleasure; (2) a pleasant and encouraging appearance.

for·get·ful (fr-gtfl, fôr-) [adj.] - tending or likely to forget.

Early this morning, I sent my mother and my niece to the port because they went home in Bohol. My elder sister works in a taxi company, so she sent a taxi for us to ride in going to the port. When we were a bit far from the house where I'm presently living, my elder sister instructed the taxi to go back home ( My sister and I are neighbors.) because she forgot to give the packs of hot dogs that she bought for her daughter . I got mad because if we went back home, my mother & my niece couldn't catch the 7:30am-ship anymore. So, we didn't go back home; anyway, my mother can buy hot dogs in Bohol.

After which, I came to realize that me too is forgetful. I easily forget & hardly remember things. I'm only 27 years old and my sister is 29 years old, but we're already forgetful. Some of my friends & students also are forgetful. Thus, I immediately searched the causes of memory problems in the internet when I arrived in the office.

These are the causes of memory problems;
  • Bad reaction to certain medicines
  • Depression
  • Not having enough fluids in your body, also called dehydration
  • Not eating enough healthy foods, or too few vitamins and minerals in your body
  • Minor head injuries
  • Thyroid problems
  • Emotional problems
Emotional problems Some emotional problems in older people can cause serious memory problems. Feeling sad, lonely, worried, or bored can cause you to be confused and forgetful.

Now I know the cause of my memory problem, it's
minor head injuries. As far as I can remember, I slipped on a slippery path when I was in a beach and my head hit on a marble path. It left a lump on the back of my head; and, the lump is still there until now. On the other hand, I'm planning to go to the doctor and have my head scanned. Because I feel dizzy every time I touch the lump.

Anyway, are you also forgetful? If you are, so read the causes of memory problems above so that you'll also know the cause of your memory problems.

What are you waiting for?..Read it now!

It was my birthday yesterday, August 15. I'm now 27 years old. As my chronological age goes up, my face also gets older..hehehe.

Prior to my birthday, I received many blessings, I met a very nice couple whom I consider now as part of my life and I got the THING that I longed for ( not to mention what it was).

Thus, I'm very thankful to God for all the good things and blessings He showered to me, especially for giving me another blissful year of living here on this rocky yet wonderful earth. On the other hand, I also thank God for giving me the courage to fight against all odds, the strength to face all the difficulties in life and the good heart & sound mind which are very essential in my journey towards the rocky road of success.

As I evaluated my accomplishments in life, I found out that it's not that many. But, when I asked myself If I was happy, my mind and heart whispered, "Yes, you're happy Lota..you're even happier now than before".

Financially and materially I'm not rich. I don't have most of the things that people are craving & longing for YET it's all right. I'm still very happy with the kind of life that I have - the most important thing is I always find myself smiling every time I go to sleep at night and every time I wake in the morning.

Life is too short for me to keep grudges and for me to worry of not having bundles of money and a luxurious life. I'm happy and contented with my life at present - and this is enough for me to live blissfully each day!

I have just watched the movie, Camp Rock. It taught me many lessons; most specifically, to SHOW what I've got. e.g. talents; and, to be always GENUINE & TRUE to oneself.

Well, I'm not perfectly honest but I try my very best to always observe honesty, to be true to myself & not to be a great pretender. Because, I might be able to fool everybody but I can never fool myself; thus, why should I do such thing?

Besides, I know someone who always tells a lie, who often brags and who pretends to be rich; likewise, who is a "know-it-all" person. I feel pity to that certain person because nobody believes her anymore and she is usually backbitten by a lot of people. On the other hand, I know that she's not happy and she's afraid that somehow many people discover who she really is?

Anyway, the movie "Camp Rock," centers on a teen girl who desperately wants to spend her summer at a prestigious rock camp, but can only attend if she works in the kitchen as one of the cooks. When she's overheard singing - but not seen -- by a teen pop star at the camp, he is completely taken and sets out to find the girl behind the beautiful voice. But first she must confront her fears, step out of the kitchen and into the spotlight.

One of the songs in the movie is "This Is Me" which was sung by Demi Lovato & Joe Jonas. The song is great and inspiring...You want to listen to it?..here it is..check this out..

The Solar Eclipse that took place today was a total eclipse of the Sun with a magnitude of 1.039. It belonged to the so-called midnight Sun eclipses, as it's visible from regions experiencing Midnight sun.

It is believed that pregnant women should not go outside during an eclipse, and should fasten a safety pin under their shirt above their belly, so that their child would not be born with a cleft lip........Is this true?
