"A pose in my new office. "

I didn't regret working before as a marketing communication officer, as a magazine staff and article contributor in a newspaper because the skills that I've learned from those offices/fields have helped me a lot in my new job.

And of course, working as an ESL Teacher for more than 5 years is really a big help. Aside from it enhances my English skill, it also helps me communicate better with my bosses, clients and the people I need to talk to. What's more, in making different proposals for our businesses.

I'm working in the head office of API Holdings Inc. and in our Korean magazine, the 'Phil So Good' Magazine. Thus, the above mentioned experiences really help me execute my tasks easily.

'Being defeated is a TEMPORARY condition. Giving up is what makes it PERMANENT'.
<-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------->
I came across this maxim while I was having a class last night. I suddenly realized how good it is. So, I shared it to my students today. Like me, they were also impressed as soon as they understood the meaning behind.

Anyway, I'm planning to live with it in that my personality fits in it. I'm this kind of person who never gives up, who is patient and who allows oneself to grow. I always believe that the fruit of sweat is sweet. So, I work hard on what I want to get and what I already have. That way, no one will question the accomplishment that I may get. They may raise their brow but not because they question my capability, instead they're envious to me.

Another thing, I attended my niece's baptism two weeks ago. I now have two nieces; one is 6 years old and the other is 4 months old. I sometimes think of having one of my own. I see how happy my sisters are of having their angels. Well, I'm happy for them also.

In the pictures are my younger sister- Jelly. She's 22 years old. She's single. And, she's a regular employee of Tayu Yuden(forgive me if I spell the company incorrectly); the baby girl with her is our niece- Bianca Michaela. She's 4 months old. She's my other sister's daughter; and of course, yours truly- the youngest in the photos...este..the oldest..the 28-year-old woman- Lota..hehe

Recently I have had terrible lunch experiences. Last Friday, there was a worm in my fish soup. Then, on Saturday there was a fly in my soda. It was really terrible. I didn't expect it to happen because I was eating in the food court of a mall.

Every weekend, I cook for my meals. I see to it that I eat good food because from Mondays to Fridays I eat out. While I was having brunch this morning, I thought of taking a video of my food..hehe... I was just bored because I was eating alone.

Anyway, here it is..

Though my title is lavender, I'll not really talk about it. It's just that I was wearing lavender earrings and blouse when I took pictures with my colleagues. Also, this might be another boring topic of mine. It's just that I want to post some photos with my friends and myself.

Posting photos of me is kinda vital because this may remind my younger years by the time I'll get old. Besides, this will serve as evidence on how 'attractive' I am...hahaha. Seriously, this will be for my future children and grandchildren - I want them not to forget me.

Well, enough for the drama moments..here are my photos...

a smile for u...

on a stool..

After a 3-hour class, I was still energetic. I didn't feel like watching TV as well as visiting my favorite w-sites. So, I thought of doing something strange but fun- just to fill up my boring moment. Needless to say, I'm alone. My husband has left recently. Besides, I had a terrible day today. I was suffering from severe migraine. So, I had to cancel my appointment with the dentist. Well, I'm fine now...hehe.

Anyway, what I did is I set my camera to 20 seconds. Then, I ran in front and posed.....click!

Because of the annoying hot weather, we (me, my sister Christie, my brother-in-law Dodong and my husband Charlie) decided to at least forget it by going to zipline and mountain view in Busay.

Our first stop - Zipline. Upon going there, we were trying to picture out how did the place look like and how was it like. On the other hand, I was holding my breath every time the taxi's engine would make a strange noise while climbing up the hills.

Anyway, we've reached the place before we knew it. We we very excited as we were heading towards the main location. However, we were all shocked when he heard people screaming, shouting and yelling. There, we saw two people zipping nervously. Oh, God! I suddenly changed my mind. I didn't want to have a ride. But I was thinking that it would be a first time experience and it would help solve my fear of heights. Without much thinking, I decided to try it. Well, we decided to let the two guys do it first..haha.

Then, our turn came. I managed to smile in front of the camera though I was nervous. And as the staff pushed me to start, I closed my eyes for a second. Finally, I enjoyed the whole ride. It was a nice experience indeed. Although I was still shivering when we headed to mountain view.

The experience made us hungry so we bought sweet corn. Surprisingly, it was so delicious! It was very different from the city's sweet corn. Maybe because it was still fresh or newly picked. While eating, we went to our second yet final stop - Mountain View.

Mountain View is beautiful indeed. It is a great place for us to escape the city's busy and fast life. It's very relaxing to stay there- a place fitted for couples. My husband and I think of staying a day or two there soon.

Anyway, the day ended with a smile in our faces. Though it made us very tired and hungry, we were all satisfied and we enjoyed a lot. Our journey wouldn't end without eating our favorite roasted chicken from Sr. Pedro.

Soon, I'll not be working with my team anymore, so I have to treasure the moment that we were all together - that was last week, during our dinner with the CEO.

Last Friday we had our regular Team Meeting. Then, we agreed to go out this 27th February. We are all looking forward to it. Meanwhile, ABOVE are some of our pics...

Recently, I've thought of wearing a dress every time I go out. I used to go out with jeans or mini skirts in that I'm comfortable with them. However, I've felt like doing something new this year. And, wearing a dress was the first thing in my mind.

As far as I can remember, I've only worn a dress few times. When I graduated high school, during my wedding and when I attended my sister-in-law's wedding; the rest, I couldn't remember. Anyway, I went to SM at 2 o'clock today. Then, I thought of wearing a dress. Since it was my first time to go shopping with a dress, I felt uncomfortable...Good thing my hubby suggested wearing tights.

Here it is....taaaadaaaaaaannnnnn......
